ABOUT KAMELHUSET

Kamelhuset was founded in the fall of 2015. Having been responsible for large companies such as Merrild Kaffe (Sara Lee), Gasa Group and DLG Food, I felt it was time to put everything I had learned and built up to good use and become involved with companies with a high corporate social responsibility profile.

A lot has happened to Kamelhuset since the outset. Kamelhuset is a co-owner of Hanegal A/S and through Future Food A/S also in Nr. Onsild, Top Food and GrisogKo, where in addition to being a co-owner, I am also on the board. Much of my time is dedicated to Future Food and Hanegal. Apart from that; I serve as Chairman of the Board at Trademark Textiles i Kolding and The Coffee Collective i Copenhagen and from April 2020 I was elected as board member of Merkur Andelskasse where I also serve as chairman for Merkur Climatefund.

I have been managing international companies for more than 25 years, the last 20 of which have been in Denmark. My strength lies in my commercial awareness and business acumen, and thus strategy, sales, marketing and business development. In my career, however, I have alternated between working with growth and business development on the one hand and turn-arounds on the other. I take responsibility for the companies and people I am involved with and am adept at creating a winner mindset in companies, even in difficult circumstances. My passion lies in the development of the interplay between people and business, where creativity and innovation are paramount. I do not beat about the bush and am efficient, even when making cuts and restructuring. My starting point is always market requirements, and the possibility of matching these with the value the company can add. I am highly results-oriented and persistent.

Parallel to my day job, I have expanded my horizons through professional board work. Over the past 20 years, I have occupied more than 30 board positions, both at a wide range of companies and at local political level. Through my international experience, I have gained respect for different cultures and learned to be flexible in my approach to problems and finding alternative solutions.
